ABOUT GWWN
Greater Washington Women’s Network: A Timeless Connection
Overview
The Greater Washington Women’s Network(GWWN) was created in 1995 by a group of women who sought to bring together professionals to share, learn, and network with one another. Their vision, which is now the focus of GWWN, is to advance the business and career skills of all business owners and professional women.
GWWN helps its members realize their potential by presenting high-quality educational programs and services that stimulate growth and success. The organization also facilitates mentoring opportunities and provides resources and guidance, empowering members to become more successful personally, professionally, and socially. Guidance also is provided to help members become professionally and personally successful through the exchange of ideas and resources.
GWWN is a nonprofit (501) (c) 3 member-operated organization in which women gain valuable experience, information, business and leadership training, and recognition. We seek to encourage the interaction of women in many arenas.
Mission
GWWN is an organization of diverse women working toward the advancement and promotion of our members through networking, education, and community service.
We are dedicated to the overall advancement and promotion of women through education, community service, and networking. We encourage women to help others while achieving their goals. We advocate teamwork. We believe dreams come true faster when we work in twos.
Our monthly meetings afford members and guests the opportunity to share their experiences, learn from one another, and make valuable business contacts through networking opportunities.
A Timeless Connection
People, places, sharing, and camaraderie make a timeless connection. For a few hours each month, we share our knowledge, friendship, and service while expanding our horizons.
Monthly Networking Events
We hope you will join GWWN, an organization that is committed to empowering, encouraging, and developing your career and business skills. Join us the second Thursday of each month as we celebrate women’s accomplishments.
