Ms. Johnson is co-founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET) and owner of Washington Mystics Basketball Team. Her champion launched June 2007, and will match gifts to CARE dollar for dollar engaging American to connect with women in poor countries and break down the barriers of poverty and inequity that have held them back for so long:
